The Australian Postgraduate Writers Network, funded by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council, is a national community of teaching academics, research students and graduates involved in creative writing higher degree programs. In this interactive forum creative writing students and supervisors can discuss and develop best-practice learning and teaching, as well as circulate findings from research and practice.

In the pages of this website you will find lists of resources (including writing exercises, grants, information about supervisors and examiners and useful links); information on workshops run for members; and information about how best to use this site.

The AAWP site http://www.aawp.org.au opens up more information for postgraduate writers: lists of the tertiary institutions in Australia and New Zealand that offer writing courses; news about conferences and publications; and other opportunities including writing jobs, grants and competitions.
