Aims and Objectives
The Network aims to:
- Build a national postgraduate research and supervision network and research culture among postgraduate students and their supervisors in creative writing;
- Promote collaborations between supervisors and candidates to reduce higher degree research student isolation and attrition and to improve supervision quality;
- Provide mentorship for new supervisors and for supervisors new to creative writing research;
- Disseminate information about Australian creative writing higher degrees, research, learning and teaching to potential students, early career supervisors, and the publishing community/industry; and
- Build on the strengths and ameliorate the differences of creative writing higher degree programs at a national level
